How to use KEYWORDS?
The keywords or phrases are the keys to lead viewers from search engine to go to your site. They are the foundations of all your other SEO efforts. But, just by typing in the words won't help you much, you need to know HOW to use them to turn the magic on.
1. Create your SEO keyword list
You need to come up with some words that can describe the purpose and content of your website. These words, are the words you know that people will use when searching on google or other search engine.
Also, try to use phrases as your keywords (putting two or three words together). By lengthening your keywords into keyword phrases, you narrow the field of competitive websites (and of course we know that people today don't use single keyword to search).
Also, you can use the Keyword Density Checker below to checkout the primary keywords from your websites. The recommended density is 3-7% for the major 2 or 3 keywords and 1-2% for minor keywords.
2. Put your keywords into your website
Where are you going to put the keywords?
Page titles, headings, URL, file names, and don't forget your meta tags.
If you're able to place well-researched keyword phrases into your site content and structure, you will attract more searchers to your site, and provide a better user experience because they will be able to find what they are looking for.
3. Semantic keyword research
“Semantics” refers to the meaning or interpretation of a word or phrase.
You can use google's "relative search" to expand your keyword list! In doing so, you will be able to have better chance to be visible on search engines.
